The path toward a life-giving marriage
When your marriage is a mess and there’s constant tension between you and your spouse, you may feel desperate and unsure if you’ll ever experience the peace that God intended and that you desire for your relationship.
Sometimes an unbiased mediator–a marriage coach–can help you achieve the transformation your relationship needs. A coach can help you and your spouse form a deeper understanding of each other, build the relational skills you need for a great marriage, and grow the faith and character necessary to use those skills.
Path of Life Coaching provides Christian coaching services and courses to help you experience a life-giving marriage full of peace and love. With an office in Christiansburg, VA, we serve couples and individuals in the New River Valley in person and can serve those in other locations through virtual sessions.

My Story to Becoming a Coach
Struggles in my own marriage led me to want to help others
I got into marriage coaching because my marriage needed help. Three years into marriage I was angry, bitter and judgmental, and that’s just what my wife could see on the surface! I did have one thing going for me: I knew that, if we were going to make it, both my wife and I would need to become like Jesus. Well, it was obvious to me that my wife didn’t care about becoming like Jesus, so I basically said: “Fine! If you don’t want to be like Jesus, then I’ll be like Jesus, and I’ll be better than you.” Yes… I decided to become like Jesus to spite my wife. I’m embarrassed.
The good news is that Jesus is full of mercy. It turned out that my wife really was trying to be like Jesus, and in giving up my expectations of my wife, and seeking to grow in Christ myself, I was doing the exact things I needed to do to have a great marriage.
I have a Masters of Divinity with an emphasis in Biblical Counseling from Westminster Theological Seminary in Glenside, PA. I am passionate about taking what I’ve learned through my studies and through my own marriage to coach couples and individuals. Since 2017, I have helped guide dozens of couples from a place of tension toward building a life-giving marriage. I have produced a number of free resources on a variety of marriage topics that you can find on my TikTok and YouTube channels, and I also host a Christian marriage podcast.
When I’m not helping couples build an awesome marriage, you can find me either lifting (powerlifting – not Crossfit, that’s way too much cardio), playing legacy board games with friends (Gloomhaven is still my favorite), getting ice cream with my wonderful and beautiful wife, or taking my boys to the park!
